Simple Present Tenses
The Simple Present tense :
- સાદા વર્તમાન કાળના ઉપયોગ :
- સાદો વર્તમાન કાળ દરરોજ થતી ક્રિયા દર્શાવે છે.
EX. I get up at six o’clock in the morning.
- સનાતન ક્રિયાઓ સૂચવે છે.
EX. The earth moves around the sun.
- કોઈ રમત / પ્રવૃત્તિ કે ઘટના વર્ણન કરવા માટે વપરાય છે.
EX. Here comes the prime minister.
- કોઈ વ્યક્તિ ની ટેવ કે કુટેવ દર્શાવવા માટે સદા વર્તામાન કાળ નો ઉપયોગ થાય છે.
EX. He goes for walk every morning.
- નિયમિત થતી ઘટના દર્શાવવા માટે સદા વર્તમાન કાળ નો ઉપયોગ થાય છે.
EX. Ravi plays cricket every Sunday.
I - ક્રિયાપદ નું મૂળ રૂપ(V1) - Do
We - ક્રિયાપદ નું મૂળ રૂપ(V1) - Do
You ક્રિયાપદ નું મૂળ રૂપ(V1) - Do
He/ She/ It - ક્રિયાપદ નું S/ES વાળું રૂપ - Does
They - ક્રિયાપદ નું મૂળ રૂપ(V1) - Do
- જયારે કર્તા તરીકે ત્રીજો પુરુષ એક વચન (he/she/it) હોય ત્યારે ક્રિયાપદ ને s/es લાગે છે.
ક્રિયપદ ના s/es ના નિયમો
- જયારે ક્રિયાપદ ના અંતે s,sh,ch,ss,o કે x આપેલ હોય તો ક્રિયાપદ ને “es” લગાડવા માં આવે છે.
EX. Go: Goes Push : Pushes Touch : Touches
- જયારે ક્રિયાપદ ને અંતે e આપેલ હોય તો માત્ર s પ્રત્યય લગાડી વર્તમાન સ્વરૂપ માં ફેરવવું.
EX. Write : Writes
- જયારે કોઈ ક્રિયાપદ ને અંતે y આપેલો હોય અને y ની પહેલા વ્યંજન આપેલ હોય ત્યારે y કાઢી ies પ્રત્યય લગાડવો.
EX. Try : Tries Cry: Cries Study: Studies
- જયારે ક્રિયાપદ ને અંતે હોય અને Y પહેલા સ્વર આપેલ હોય ત્યારે માત્ર S પ્રત્યય લગાડવા માં આવે છે.
EX. Pray : Prays Play : Plays
- જયારે ક્રિયાપદ ને ઉપર આપેલા નિયમો માંથી એક પણ નિયમ ના લાગુ પડે ત્યારે ક્રિયા પદ ને S પ્રય્ત્યાય લાગે છે.
EX. Drink : Drinks
Waters : Waters
અન્ય શબ્દો : always , ever , never, sometime, usually, regularly, today, everyday.
Active voice વાક્યરચના:
હકાર :
કર્તા + ક્રિયાપદ નું મૂળરૂપ / ક્રિયાપદ નું s/es વાળું રૂપ + કર્મ + અન્ય શબ્દ.
નકાર :
કર્તા + Do / does + not + ક્રિયાપદ નું મૂળરૂપ + કર્મ + અન્ય શબ્દ.
પ્રશ્નાર્થ :
Do / Does + કર્તા + ક્રિયાપદ નું મૂળ રૂપ + કર્મ + અન્ય શબ્દ + ?
Ex. 1.
1. They go to school every morning.
2. They do not go to school every morning
3. Do they go to school Every morning?
Ex. 2.
1. Bhavika watches movie every Sunday.
2. Bhavika does not watch movie every Sunday.
3. Does Bhavika watch movie every morning?
